Google Cloud Revenue Accountant in Dublin, Ireland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Professional qualification CIMA/ACA/ACCA.

  • Candidates will typically have 4 years of experience with general accounting principles, including US GAAP and related international accounting standards.

  • Experience in a controllership, accounting, or finance role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience of IFRS15/ASC 606, application of business accounting standards in an enterprise software/tech industry setting.

  • Experience in the Enterprise Cloud industry.

  • Experience in Technical Accounting.

  • Strong communication skills along with the ability to articulate technical accounting guidance to non-technical audiences.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

  • Represent the Cloud Controllership team in agreement enablement, including the review and approval of Cloud business agreement, ensuring appropriate business recognition in accordance with IFRS15/ASC 606.

  • Perform monthly and quarterly reporting on Cloud business agreements for the EMEA region as part of financial close procedures.

  • Work closely with Accounting Operations to ensure all contractual adjustments are appropriately reflected in results and supported with analyses and documentation for financial reporting.

  • Build robust relationships with key business stakeholders to provide technical accounting and business recognition advice to cross functional teams and business partners.

  • Partner with the global Controllership team to align on industry, product, and business related trends that pose potential financial, operational or reputational risk to Google within your region.
