Job Overview

With the assistance of the Maintenance Lead and/or Production Supervisor, support manufacturing by maintaining the structure and process of the TPM program. Finalize implementation of the program and maintain it to ensure adequate training is provided and that manufacturing equipment and facilities are properly maintained with a drive for high Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and implement TPM documents and schedule in collaboration with the Maintenance Line Lead.

  • Assist with tracking preventative maintenance tasks, equipment downtime, spare parts inventory, and work order priority.

  • Define and track maintenance process, machine inspection, and operator checklists of new and existing equipment.

  • Assist in defining and tracking equipment failures, weak points and equipment efficiencies.

  • Perform audits to TPM standards and follow up results with shop floor management.

  • Monitor standards daily to ensure high levels of productivity; and contribute to the development of quality goals and objectives by implementing plans to ensure adherence to specified quality standards while meeting department efficiency standards.

  • Encourage employee involvement in the correct use of equipment and materials to generate cost reduction methods and coach their implementation.

  • Cross-trained in TOS to include participation in projects, promotion of TOS and continuous improvement activities

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Attached resume required

  • 3 years in electronics manufacturing with background in TPM preferred

  • Proficient in the use of a CMMS program, preferred

  • Familiarity with computer applications and/or controlled systems

  • High level of analytical and problem solving ability

  • Strong computer skills (ex. Excel, Word, Power Point)

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others so as to motivate employees and elicit work output

  • Must be available to work all shifts and/or flexible hours
