The modern Katowice Hub office, whose interiors were designed according to the principles of sustainable development, is located in the city centre of Katowice, Poland.We are working in the hybrid way to use the time spent in the office to influence collaboration and straighten the team spirit, using special designed for this purpose office areas.

JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Finance first point of contact for logistic cost for the MCO (Multi-Country Organisation) teams (logistic, finance , Customer operations ) : explain results, coordinates monthly and yearly planning/forecasting process and provides visibility on it, leads deep dives and investigations, participates on local performance review meetings

  • Provides the relevant support for cluster manager on result/forecast processes, projects, ad hoc analysis and financial controls

  • Builds business cases or scenarios to support cost decision making with key focus in saving initiatives (restructuring, changes in logistic network, supporting tenders or price negotiations, truck fill, storage cost modelling, capex proposals)

  • Person is responsible for result analysis and participates and supports forecasting and budgeting of logistic cost elements where relevant

  • Review, discuss and if needed adjusts the analysis of SCFS team in Warehouse / Secondary Transport cost element during month-end and variance analysis

  • Provides the relevant input for transport finance processes (input for month end, savings, inflation, one offs)

  • Has a basic level of understanding of primary transport and pallet results and forecast

  • Support “local” initiatives in the area logistic cost contracted by MSO -Marketing Sales Organisation (RTM) ensuring a proper level of connection with the local finance communities

  • Provides the relevant input to the central finance team on reports and analysis required by them (e.g. FCST, BP, Variance analysis, Volume input, Commentaries) and ensure MCO alignment to the central processes.

  • Responsible for logistic restructuring actuals and forecast process where relevant

  • Ensures relevant support on logistic capex control and forecast where relevant

  • He manages budgeting and LSS recharging process both for Distribution Management Costs and SC Indirects

  • The person is responsible for Supply Chain Overheads finance processes (month end, rebooking, forecasting, analysis)

  • Provides and discusses details of Logistic and SCO forecast with MSO finance

  • He ensures that both central and local controls are up to standard and that local legal requirements are met in the areas of competence (yearly/cycle stock count, stock in transit)

  • Ensures compliance with IFRS 16 (knowledge of country WH contracts, maintaining/analysing financial information in various systems)

  • Provide required explanations and input for transfer pricing process

  • Supports external/internal audits with providing the necessary documentation and answers to auditors

  • Provides support in critical P2P issues for customer operations team

  • Responsible for integration of acquisitions/disposals into logistic finance processes

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

    Experiences & Qualifications

  • Preferred experience is 3-4 years spent in more finance positions including accounting and business partnering
