Pay Range: $17.50
Shift(s) Available: 1st shift, 5:30am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. Must be able to work weekends, holidays if needed.

Summary
The Production Specialist will be responsible for sanitation practices throughout the facility. This includes Works with Production Operators to maintain Production Suite environment, alert limits by following established cleaning practices. The sanitarian practices performed must conform to the regulations set forth by all legislatures.
Essential Job Functions:
Clean and sanitizer non-product contact surfaces according to established Standard Safety Operating Procedures such as production suites, laboratories, restrooms, offices, warehouse, other general areas and grounds as needed in order to maintain and conform to FDA and GMP guidelines and regulations for cleaning practices. (Sweeps, mops, strips, scrubs, and polishes floors using industrial power equipment)
Moves office furniture and follow established techniques and using designated solutions, cleans and washes walls, ceilings, inside and outside windows, equipment exteriors, carts, tables, chairs, stools, benches, door handles, door push plates, door latch releases, light switches, telephones, floors, and window blinds. and equipment for cleaning.
Responsible for preparation of solutions, solution disposal, trash disposal. Administrative and laboratory cleaning includes vacuuming carpets and removes stains and foreign matter from a variety of surfaces using proper cleaners.
Partner with Production, Maintenance and Quality Departments to ensure that all sanitation and pest control programs, procedures and systems are effectively developed, executed and monitored per policy requirements
Washes and cleans windows and ceiling air vents. Dusts and cleans office areas, woodwork, furniture, floor coverings, fixtures, fire doors, and empties trash containers.
Works with Quality Manager to maintain the Pest Control Log.
Facilitate corrective actions related to pest prevention and sanitation
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of sanitation supplies, including ordering and replenishing.
Mixes/Handles chemical concentrates.
Monitors cleanliness behind/ below facility pallets and racking.
Works with Maintenance Dept. to make minor interior wall repairs and touch up paint.
Utilizes powered cleaning equipment that may include lift truck, scissors lift, power washer, foam applicators, automatic compactors and various non-mechanized equipment.
Creates/Updates Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform zonal inspections each week to cover the entire facility once per month searching for opportunities pertaining to sanitation and sanitary design
Focus on sanitation optimization and effectiveness as well as project design and verification
Complete tasks according to the Master Sanitation Schedule; coordinating, monitoring and updating documents, forms and logs in relation to cleaning/ sanitation functions
Utilize computer systems to input and record data as required in regard to safety and sanitation
Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
Understand and adhere to ADM's Safety, Environmental Compliance and Food Quality and goal of achieving a zero-injury culture.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policy

Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
2-3 years’ work experience preferably in a cGMP Facility for dietary supplements.
Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
High School diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills, (Word and Excel)
Experience in production and/or similar military environment (preferred)
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
On-the-Job Training Requirements:
Complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training
GMP training and training on specialized equipment will be provided.
Participate in company planned operations training
Working Conditions
Ambient conditions – Work area is, typically, a non-air-conditioned production environment. Hot or cold Temperatures, all seasonal elements, both indoors and outdoors
Atmosphere: Dust cotton, canola seed, and odor
Must be able to work around noise levels that may reach or exceed 85 decibels and require use of hearing protection for most of the work shift
Company provided protective clothing required: Uniforms, hardhats, earplugs, safety glasses, hair restraints, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and safety harness may be required based on task performed; employees are required to wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) (i.e., hard-hats, safety glasses, earplugs, uniforms, and steel-toed boots) in addition to job specific PPE requirements. *Employees in roles that require respirators will need to be clean shaven.
Physical Requirements
Ability to move about or to a work site by ascending/descending stairs, bending, kneeling and prolonged periods of standing and sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, or squatting frequently
Ability to operate equipment or machinery that may be located at different heights; may require work on ladders, scaffolding or other work at heights or in confined spaces
Ability to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis, up to 55 pounds on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds overhead
Requires ability and willingness to wear respirators
Ability to traverse up to two (2) miles during the course of a workday
Work Hours
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice as needed.
ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.
