Description

We are searching for a Senior of Financial Reporting to join our client's team within the Hospitality industry. This permanent role is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will involve maintaining the books and records of corporate and other subsidiaries, companywide close and consolidation, external financial reporting, and stock-based compensation plan administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company's SEC reporting process, preparing key supporting workpapers, and managing other financial reporting deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Support the SEC reporting process, including the preparation and filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, proxy statements, registration statements, and other forms as required.

• Prepare key supporting workpapers used in SEC filings, environmental, social, & governance (ESG) reports, and other external reporting deliverables.

• Prepare the overall electronic tie out binder underlying our audited financial statements.

• Assist with the preparation and filing of other domestic and foreign financial statements in compliance with credit agreements and regulatory, statutory, and other requirements.

• Prepare journal entries related to the corporate ledger, including debt, equity, and other corporate accounts.

• Take ownership of assigned areas and ensure financial statements are complete, accurate, and compliant with all applicable standards.

• Learn and understand systems and processes and be willing to take on challenges and new information.

• Embody the core values of excellence and commitment to service.

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proven knowledge of GAAP Accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation.

• Demonstrated experience with SEC Reporting, including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and Form 8-K, preferred.

• In-depth understanding of Securities and Exchange Commission regulations.

• Familiarity with Workiva or similar financial reporting software.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Candidate seeking professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
