University of Louisville Temporary Lab Assistant in Louisville, Kentucky

Minimum Requirements:Six or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.Position Description:The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is seeking qualified candidates for full- and part-time Lab Assistants for the Eating Anxiety Treatment (EAT) lab at the University of Louisville. This position will involve working with clinical participants with eating disorders, running and coordinating multiple research studies, working on grant proposals and publications, assisting with data preparation, assisting with institutional review board protocols, and working with a large interdisciplinary team both at the University of Louisville and with cross-site collaborators. The research technician will work very closely with the Director of the EAT Lab, Dr. Cheri Levinson, on a day to day basis.Opportunities for involvement in publications and presentations at national conferences are available. Minimum experience is a bachelors’ degree in psychology or a related field. Research experience is a must. This position is ideal for someone wanting to go to graduate school in a health related field.
