Plant-level Quality Manager to lead all aspects of the quality management system, while providing support and leadership to other areas within the business.
Develop, implement, and maintain a standardized, organization-wide quality management system to the requirements of ISO9001:2015.
Manages the Quality organization by providing work direction for all employees within the Quality Department including APL and non-APL positions.
Is a member of plant management and provides leadership, support and input into plant level decisions and overall plant direction within the vision of AMS leadership.
Interacts regularly with Engineering, Manufacturing and Service functions to establish quality standards for product release, raw materials, work in process and finished goods.
Regularly reports, to plant level management, the state of the quality management system and any output metrics such as warranty results and customer concerns.
Is the quality liaison providing support and leadership for Continuous improvement efforts and TOS implementation.
Communicates with all levels of customers including Parts Distribution Center, Distributor/Dealers and Owners.
Review and approval of Process Deviation, Material Deviations, and Engineering Change Orders.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
Bachelors’ degree in engineering, business, production management or related degree required
Four years of experience in manufacturing quality management systems required
Excellent oral and written communication skills required
Up to two years of supervisory/management experience required
Proficient analytical and problem solving ability required
Excellent understanding of Quality Management Systems required
Strong leadership skills required
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and to motivate employees required
Familiarity with computer systems and all Microsoft Office applications required
