Primary Role: This position will be responsible for all aspects of shipping product on time as well as placing product in staging area for inspection, packaging, and loading onto trucks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize stock in racks and clean warehouse.

• Operate banding and stretch-wrap equipment.

• Satisfy material handling needs for other departments (moving finished or raw goods.)

• Inventory warehouse product.

• Loading of LTL shipments.

• Proper operation of material handling equipment.

• Follow safety rules for storage of material and use of material handling equipment.

• Maintain warehouse organization according to current floor plan.

• Adjust warehouse floor plan according to seasonal needs.

• Maintain proper shipping logs.

• Perform cycled and year-end inventories.

• Interface with shipping, customer service, and manufacturing to ensure accurate and timely shipments of auto covers and other inventory items located in warehouse.

• Know warehouse bin/locator system.

• Must use hand scanner.

• All other duties as directed by supervisor.

  Qualifications/Skills:

• Must have fork lift operation experience.

• Must be able to work overtime when required.

• Some computer knowledge.

• Math and measuring instrument aptitude a must

• Must be able to work overtime when necessary

• Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hours.

• Must be able to perform heavy lifting, pushing and pulling. ( approx.70 plus pounds repetitive )

• Know Inventory Control Procedures

• The ability to perform Safe loading/unloading of Trucks.

• Be able to work M-F with some overtime as needed.

  Essential Job Functions:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask, work on a team, work independently, and the ability to work with one’s hands.

• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand or sit for 8–12 hour shifts, able to lift up to 70 pounds plus repetitive.
