Job Overview

The Launch and Change Management team is responsible for leading the implementation of new product projects into DTNA's truck manufacturing plants and supply chain networks. Our team is responsible for understanding the technical changes introduced by DTNA Engineering, ensuring the launch strategy is aligned throughout the organization, and actionable for both Operations, and DTNA's supply chain. We lead our supply chain to ensure new part forecasting for production volumes is transparent, and tooling, returnable packaging, transportation, and all other manufacturing requirements are achieved.


  • Control work order activity to satisfy customer requirements, including the opening, planning & communication of work orders.

  • Develop working product knowledge of parts controlled at both Truck and Part Manufacturing Plants, including assembly practices related to production material flow.

  • Analyze and optimize material planning elements, transportation logistics, and plant inventory levels to optimize the material forecast to our suppliers.

  • Monitor data loaded to Purchase Part Schedule (PPS) to ensure information is compatible between Engineering, Purchasing, Materials, and Production.

  • Address issues regarding shipping, pack quantities, packaging, racking, returns, and disposition of material.

  • Ensure suppliers have complete plans and strategies to achieve delivery and quality targets and fulfill EDI requirements.

  • Communicate logistics concerns and shortages to work towards a timely resolution.

  • Participate in supplier readiness and development.

  • Assist with pre-series and pre-production activities to ensure successful series launch.

  • Follow-up with suppliers to ensure orders are on schedule and delivered on time.

  • Manage reactive quality and delivery activities with suppliers, including escalation steps.

  • Advise and instruct component suppliers of DTNAs on-time delivery and quality expectations.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related study from an accredited university/college required

  • An excellent working knowledge and understanding of engineering and manufacturing systems required

  • Excellent writing, verbal communication, and negotiation skills required

  • Demonstrated positive leadership skills required

  • Clear understanding of Lean practices and principles required

  • An attached resume is required

Typical Minimum Experience Preferred (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred

  • 1 year experience in DTNA Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Project Management preferred

  • Strong data analytics & predictive modeling skills preferred, Experience with Tableau, SQL preferred

  • Advanced MS-Access, MS-Excel skills, MS-Power Point, Power BI preferred
