The Digital Vehicle Solutions team at Daimler Trucks North America ( DTNA) delivers value to our customers through connected vehicle products and services. This role will need to have the ability to define and implement product deliverables for the Remote Updates product line including Parameters over the air (POTA) and Firmware over the air (FOTA). In a Product Owner role for a feature development team, this individual will be working closely with the Remote Updates Product Manager to support Agile Scrum team objectives and goals. This position collaborates with departments regarding their assigned product area (Service, Detroit, Mechatronics, PVE, IT, Sales & Marketing, etc.), ensuring organizational alignment and delivery
Work with the product manager and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles that align with the strategic direction
Create appropriately detailed requirements for product features that are clearly understood by the development teams
Collaborate with SAFe team on all new feature development, including building, grooming and prioritize backlog,
Contributing to/reviewing/approving user stories, sprint support, and QA testing; including participating in Agile team ceremonies such as sprint reviews/demos
Troubleshoot and prioritize incoming issues from various teams to develop an appropriate solution. Record all issues in JIRA, collaborate with cross-functional teams on solution design and help drive to closure.
Partner with design and user experience colleagues to ensure an intuitive UX/UI that meets customer needs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field from an accredited university/college required and 1 year of relevant experience OR 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree required

Experience that meet strong customer needs and standards required
Experience in translating product epics and features into user stories and further breaking them down into technical requirements that are easily digestible by development teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Understanding of embedded systems and vehicle network architecture in order to design efficient and scalable solutions
Experience in vehicle development or diagnostics required
Ability to work collaboratively but also autonomously when needed required
Must be able to work outside of traditional working hours in order to support global initiatives
Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to communicate across cultures and geographic regions
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word required
Ability to change direction and priorities in a fast paced environment required
Typical Minimum Experience Preferred (Desired Skills/Experience)
2-4 years of related experience preferred
1 year of digital connectivity or telematics knowledge, ideally in an OEM context preferred
Experience working with various databases & tools (SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar) preferred
Experience in data analytics such as proactive data monitoring, case management and device diagnostics preferred
Experience in working with SAFe/Agile processes, tools and teams preferred
Exposure to OTA updates (FOTA, SOTA) preferred
