The Scrum Master in the Cloud Computing and Emerging Technologies Team is responsible for managing the backlog for the team and coaching the team on best practices and principals of Agile and Scrum as well as communicating program status and strategy. A successful candidate is a motivated self-starter with excellent customer service, communication and change management skills; as well as a logical and practical approach to finding solutions that drive end-user efficiency.
Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
Promotes team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
Responsible for ensuring Scrum and Agile are understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinements, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
Responsible for Demand Management of new service and feature requests ensuring transparency and customer focused communication
Manages backlog with Project Owner or Team Lead.
Responsible for creation and management of customer communication and collaboration platforms
Responsible for creation and management of internal team communications and collaboration platforms
Create customer directed content for communication of feature releases, service updates, update newsletters, feature roadmaps and cloud strategy.
Act as champion for user experience in communicating service, project and program status
Create and assist team members in development of status reports, presentations and feature updates for management and customer consumption
Manages onboarding and off boarding of resources.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college with 2 years of professional experience OR 4 years related experience in IT required
1 years of Agile Scrum Masterexperience or 2 years related experience in Agile Project Management required
Experience with Software Development and Collaboration Tools (such as Jira/Confluence, Azure DevOps Boards, or Git) required
Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles required
Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills required
Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices required
Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques required
Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams required
Knowledge of User Experience principles such as visual communication, presentation, empathy mapping and user journey mapping required
Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques required
Experience preparing and presenting strategic and technical information required
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel

Typical Minimum Experience Preferred (Desired Skills/Experience)
2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
A plus but not required: a working knowledge of the automotive industry preferred
