This role will spearhead strategic initiatives to drive SitusAMC's growth and market leadership. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Head of Global FP&A, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of the finance organization and guide the firm’s M&A, partnership, and strategic transactions within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and deliver sophisticated PowerPoint presentations, conveying complex ideas, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, board members, and external stakeholders with clarity and impact

  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, board members, investors, clients, and industry partners, representing SitusAMC as a trusted partner

  • Provide strategic support and direction the Finance organization, including to the Director of Transaction Accounting, guiding the identification, evaluation, and execution of high-impact initiatives to support SitusAMC's growth objectives in the real estate finance industry

  • Be a thought leader who is embedded in the end-to-end M&A process, from target identification and due diligence to negotiation and integration planning, focusing on collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and legal teams to navigate deal complexities and achieve successful outcomes

  • Analyze post-merger integration efforts to capture synergies, optimize operations, and accelerate value realization for SitusAMC and its stakeholders following strategic transactions

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities within the real estate finance sector, informing strategic decision-making and investment priorities

  • Bring new thinking and focus on continually developing information, trends, and instincts to help predict issues before they occur

  • Develop firmwide financial models for cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and forecasting, including multiyear planning and Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) analysis, to support strategic decision-making and investment prioritization

  • Conduct regular meetings with Head of Global FP&A to track progress, review performance metrics, and determine appropriateness of current corporate activities

  • Perform ad-hoc requests and projects to support operational and strategic business decisions as needed

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s and MBA in Finance or a related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent.

  • 8+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, or private equity, management consulting, corporate strategy preferred

  • Experience in the real estate finance sector preferred but not required

  • Act as a subject matter expert on valuation and deal structuring

  • Possess the ability to structure and develop complex financial analyses and prior experience providing decision support for a range of projects, investments, and strategic initiatives

  • Have strong analytical ability, good judgment, problem-solving abilities, and be strategically minded with a strong attention to detail

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to formulate and deliver insights around complex business problems in a thoughtful and persuasive manner

  • Ability to effectively present to all levels of management, including corporate C-Suite executives, and other internal and external parties

  • Self-starter and team player with ability to achieve or exceed their objectives while working in concert with others

  • Demonstrated ability to excel in an innovative, fast-paced environment, with rapid exploration and ability to execute

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous high priority projects

  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) as well as financial concepts (IRR analyses, DCFs, etc.)

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills including

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel

  • Travel will be required to other Company offices as needed to build/enhance key business relationships

  • The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment

The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($95,000 - $170,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
