Burlington Director of DC Maintenance - Supply Chain in Swedesboro, New Jersey

As an off-price retailer we generate more than $9B in sales through our nationwide network of stores.

Our Director of Maintenance – Supply Chain will support the business by developing and implementing maintenance programs across the Distribution Network to increase overall equipment/systems effectiveness, improve infrastructure standardization and reduce cost.

Remote candidates homebase in Southern California or the East Coast with the willingness to travel preferred.
A Day in the Life

  • Develop KPIs, tracking mechanisms, reporting and analytics focused on maximizing equipment uptime

  • Act as the main point of contact for all hardware/software tickets and escalation point for DC Maintenance

  • Manage Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with MHE Vendors to pinpoint areas of opportunity and implement changes

  • Post project implementation go-live (upgrades, retrofits, etc.) support transitions from SC Project Implementation to Corporate Maintenance.

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor Technician Training Curriculum and Certification status by site/user.

  • Vendor University - Ensuring Maintenance access to e-learning tools and Project Management access to mechanical/electrical documentation on conveyors and sorters

  • Cohesive Maintenance Leadership/Direction – Corporate Maintenance org provides consistent thought leadership, direction and feedback for all DCs in the network

  • Preventative Maintenance Program – Development of program and monitoring of implementation, progress, and performance

  • Equipment & Service Standards – Partner with Procurement on development and execution of equipment and service contracts (spare parts, racking, lift equipment, tools, etc.)

  • Inventory ordering/tracking

You Come With

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 8+ years of experience in maintenance or related field, with 5+ years of leadership experience

  • Experience running large scale material handling capital projects

  • PC Skills – Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint

  • Material handling systems experience design through implementation

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 60%
