Description

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Project Manager with expertise in SAP S/4 Hana implementation for a 6+ month contract with manufacturing and distribution company located in Salt Lake City, UT. The consultant will initially report to the CFO and work closely with the IT project team to optimize SAP financials in S/4HANA. Critical and immediate support needed to integrate Certify expense management into SAP and ADP. Future work will be to activate SAP trade deductions and overall system optimization from a functional perspective. This is a very hands-on role that requires a strategic, big-picture mindset. The ideal consultant is a doer and needs to be granular and very involved with execution.

This position will be fully remote but may require some travel. Local candidates in the Salt Lake City Metro area are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Support leadership by optimizing financial reporting and tools within SAP

• Implement and optimize the Certify expense management system and integrate with SAP S/4HANA and ADP.

• Review current finance and accounting processes and identify areas for system optimization

• Conduct workflow processes and validate data.

• Advocate for best practices and business process improvements.

• Identify process gaps and adjust for SAP processes

• Prepare process change documentation and SOPs for desktop procedures

• Set up new modules and reports

• Optimize SAP for business needs

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• Proven and recent experience implementing SAP S/4Hana (preferably multiple times)

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment

• Manufacturing experience helpful

• Experience with SAP Trade deductions is a bonus skillset

• Firm understanding of internal controls
